Legendary Fish Mission Walkthrough

Interaction With Jeremy Gill

To begin this journey, you must head to the dock where Jeremy Gill awaits. This spot can be found along the northeastern coast of Flat Iron Lake. Depending on your current position, it could be more convenient to approach this area from the southeast of Flatneck Station.

Upon meeting Gill at the mentioned location, he will start to brag about how famous he is. Due to his reputation, he’s used to collecting quite a penny by sending stuffed fish to his customers.

Unfortunately, his business model is being bottlenecked by the amount of fish he can collect. Therefore, he needs outside help. After explaining this scenario, Jeremy will hand a map to Arthur.

This piece of paper contains the approximate location of the 13 most legendary fish found throughout the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s up to you to catch them and bring them back to Jeremy for a reward.

Catching The Legendary Fish

There are a total of 13 Legendary fish in the seas of RDR2. At the same time, none of them are an easy catch. Knowing the exact how-tos can help you go a long way, nonetheless.

This fish is located in the southern part of Clemens Point. But before heading there, you need to source the Special Lake Lure in order to catch them.

This can be found at the Bait Shop located in Lagras once you’ve accepted A Fisher of Fish mission. Make sure to purchase at least seven of these as there are a total of seven Legendary fish that are attracted by this bait.

The reference to the Legendary Bluegill is present when you accept Kieran’s offer to go fishing somewhere around chapter 3. While heading to fish, you discover a naked stranger within the lake that will notify you about the Legendary Bluegill.

2. Legendary Largemouth Bass

Depending on how you’re able to catch it, the Legendary Perch can either be the easiest one or the most annoyingly painful chore of your RDR2 experience. Just be sure not to let the opportunity slip by.

4. Legendary Redfin Pickerel

This fish is located in the Creek Deltas in the western area of Sisika, and is similar in nature to the Legendary Bullhead Catfish. Since both of them are found in the same waters, we recommend you bring twice the amount of bait.

Once all the fish are caught, store them in your inventory, and head back to Jeremy Gill to claim your reward.

At this point, Jeremy will invite you on a trip to Rio Bravo, and you’ll be able to find the Legendary Channel Catfish. It’s worth mentioning that you need to reach Epilogue 1 in order to access this trip, as well as the Legendary Channel Catfish in Red Dead Redemption 2.
