Customization in Monster Hunter Stories 2 is limited. You do not have full freedom of altering everything in your character. After starting the game, if you still wish to change your appearance, you will have to make your way to your home. You can find your home in the houseboat in the village. Inside, you can find a chest that you can interact with. When you interact with the chest, you will be able to see the appearance menu. The options available here are changing tribal makeup, the color of your armor, and changing Navirou’s appearance. On top of these things, the most important change you can make is changing your layered armor.
You can get different layer armor by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of the game. The other way is that if you own Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch. This is an important change as this entirely changes how your character will look.
