Kukiel is an NPC in Skyward Sword. She is the daughter of Wryna and Jakamar and lives in Skyloft. You will first meet her outside her house when you are in search of your Crimson Loftwing. Where to Find Kukiel in Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
You will have to progress through the story till you complete the first dungeon in the game. You will receive the Ruby Tablet and will meet Kukiel’s mother. She will inform you that Kukiel is missing and you need to find her. The time will be daytime, and you need to change it to nighttime. To do this, you will need to sleep in your bed. When you wake up, it will be nighttime, and you will need to make your way to the graveyard.
Once you reach the graveyard, go to the top left gravestone and use your skyward strike to push it. This will open a door nearby that you need to go through. Keep following the path to the house and go inside. You will find Kukiel inside the house along with Batreaux. You can speak to him to start the Gratitude Crystal sidequest.
