The Mist Armor in God of War is known to be one of the best armor sets that you can get in the game. In order to get the armor, you need to complete a couple of steps. Following the steps below to get the Mist Armor:

  • Collect 4 Niflheim Cipher pieces
  • Travel to Niflheim
  • Fight bank Mist Echoes with Sindri
  • Use 500 Mist Echoes to get access to the workshop
  • Collect the 9 pieces of Ivaldi’s Rusted Armor in the workshop
  • Fight in the mist again and earn the resources needed to craft the Rusted Armor into Mist Armor

There are 3 types of Mist armor and each one has different characteristics. You can learn about the different types below:

Armor Type Pros Cons

Well rounded armor set

Endless Mist Armor High boost for Strength, Defense and Vitality Missing Runic
Cursed Mist Armor High boost for Strength, Runic and Defense Missing Vitality

You will need to make a choice here. You could go with a decent overall armor set, one that boosts all attributes except for Runic or the one that boosts all attributes besides vitality. There is a clear trade-off in all three cases, so choose depending on your play style and which attribute you need the most.
