The Course of True Love is a Chapter 3 story mission featured in Red Dead Redemption 2; and also one of the shortest missions in the video game.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 Course of True Love story mission can be accessed after you complete The New South, while you are stationed at Clemens Point.
After you complete the said mission look for Grays icon (GR) on your map, just west of Caliga Hall.
The Course of True Love features 3 parts; all of them being covered by the following walkthrough. Since it’s a timed mission, a good idea is to save the game before starting it; in case you miss the Gold Medal on your first try.
During this mission, using weapons it’s forbidden, following Dutch’s request to avoid creating any problems in Rhodes.

“Beau Gray asks Arthur to deliver a letter to Penelope Braithwaite at Braithwaite Manor.”

Walkthrough:
Part I
When you reach the location marked on your map, head to the large mansion, through the front gate. Eventually, the Grays will try to stop you. Show them your new deputy badge, as pictured below.

Once inside look around to find Strangers and ask them various questions about Caliga Hall.
You can start with the worker in the field on the right, or with the butler cleaning the front stairs (also pictured).

Eventually, one of them will direct you to a new location, where you must meet Beau. Notice that a new icon (BG) appears on your map.
Go left, around the mansion to find Beau near a small house made of clay. As you approach him, you’ll trigger a cutscene which ends the first part of the mission.

Part II
During your conversation with Beau Gray, you’ll find an interesting secret. He is in love with Penelope, but she’s a Braithwaite.
Since these two families are rivals in Red Dead Redemption 2, this secret is quite important. Nevertheless, Beau still loves Penelope and he will ask you to find and giver her a letter and a gift.
After you pick Beau’s Gift to Penelope the clock starts ticking and you need to complete The Course of True Love Part II in 3 minutes. Furthermore, you need to reach Penelope without being spotted.
Gold Medal Goal Tip: Mount your horse and ride to Braithwaite Manor as fast as you can. As you approach the highlighted area you’ll be warned not to be spotted. The best way to complete these two requirements is to go south around the Braithwaite Manor close to the little wooden shack in the picture below. Then head straight to the gazebo where Penelope is located, swimming through the small cove.

Approach Penelope and give her the letter and the gift from Beau; then you’ll receive a letter for him. Once the cutscene ends, you’ll have to exit Braithwaite Manor without being spotted.
Simply head towards the docks in front of you, take the boat and row away (south-west) from the red area marked on your map.

Part III
To start The Course of True Love Part 3 return to Beau Gray at Caliga Hall and give him the gift and the letter you received from Penelope. You’ll find him at the stables as you can see below.

After you talk to Beau, follow him to the rally point where Penelope and other women gathered to fight for their voting rights.
Unfortunately, there is no way to convince the women to give up their ideas; therefore, you’ll end up driving their wagon.
At this point, all you have to do is to follow the marked path on your minimap until you reach the bank in Rhodes. As you stop, Beau’s cousins will appear wanting to know what you two are doing at the rally.

Gold Medal Goal Tip: Once the cutscene ends, leave with Beau. Do not antagonize Beau’s cousins because you’ll start a fight during which you will waste time; risking to miss the Gold Medal.
When Beau’s cousins appear, simply walk away
Just mount your horse and follow Beau to an old fort where the mission ends and you’ll receive your payment.
Completing The Course of True Love in Red Dead Redemption 2 is a requirement for unlocking Advertising, the New American Art. For the said mission you also need to finish American Distillation and An American Pastoral Scene.; both of them being covered by our RDR2 Wiki.
