Far Cry New Dawn Light ‘Em Up Treasure Hunt Walkthrough

Far Cry New Dawn Light ‘Em Up is the tenth Treasure Hunt side-mission from the video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Light ‘Em Up is also the last Treasure Hunt covered by our Far Cry New Dawn Wiki Guide; however, since these activities can be completed in any order, you can attempt it the moment you reach Prosperity.

Similar to the Burning Souls Treasure Hunt, Light ‘Em Up requires a source of fire (Weapon or Perk), such as Burning Arrows, Incendiary Rounds, or Repair Tool.

Make sure you don’t travel to the mission’s location without having one; otherwise you won’t be able to complete it.

Treasure Hunt Location

Light ‘Em Up Treasure Hunt begins in front of a church located between Sacred Lumber and Trailer Town outposts.

The location is known as Toothchapel and you can see it on the map below.

Highwaymen Note Location

Once you reach the location on the map above look for a Highwaymen Note, sitting on a wooden bench in front of a demolished building.

Read it to begin the Light ‘Em Up Treasure Hunt.

“Look, I don’t care how that wolverine stole the key and I don’t care how many of you got mauled chasing after it. 

If it’s nesting in the church, then go inside and burn its nest and take the fucking key from the ashes. I needed that shed opened yesterday.”

From the note above, it’s easy to understand that in order to find the hidden stash for this mission, you need to open a door using a key.

Unfortunately, the key was stolen by a Wolverine, just like the Grizzly Bear from For Whom the Bear Tolls Treasure Hunt.

This means that if you find the Wolverine you find the key. But first, you have to figure out how to enter the church.

The moment you read the note,  follow the radar on your screen and look for window close to the ground. Notice that it’s covered by several planks.

Destroy these planks

Hit the planks or shoot them to enter the church.

Once inside, remain on the ground and follow the corridor until you reach a dead end. Turn around and look up to see some blue ropes.

Climb here

Use them to climb, then take a left turn, and hop on the small ledge near the wall. Now drop down in the room below.

In the next area, crouch and continue to advance until you see another window covered with planks, on the left side of the narrow corridor.

Destroy these planks as well.

Now, take a left turn, then a right to spot the Wolverine’s nest, pictured below.

Set the nest on fire, kill the Wolverine and retrieve the key

Using one of the weapons mentioned above, set the nest o fire, then kill the Wolverine as fast as possible.

Loot the beast’s corpse to obtain the Highwaymen Shed Key, then retrace your steps and head outside.

When you reach the exit, turn right and several steps away you should see the shed where the hidden stash is located. Open the door using the key you have obtained to complete the Light ‘Em Up Treasure Hunt in Far Cry New Dawn.

Inside the treasure room, make sure you grab as many Crafting Materials as you can, as well as the Perk Magazines.
