Days Gone: Rimview Ranch Infestation Walkthrough

Days Gone Rimview Ranch Infestation is one of the 2 Crater Lake Infested Areas from the latest video game developed by Bend Studio for PlayStation 4.

Infestation Location & Nests Map

Days Gone Rimview Ranch Infestation Nests Locations MapRimview Ranch Infestation is located south-east of Cascade Lakes Railway Ambush Camp, Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway Nero Checkpoint and Tumblebug River Infestation, in Crater Lake Region.

Eventually, you’ll reach this area while working on completing the Infestation Exterminator Storyline.

This site includes 3 Freakers Nests that must be burned down, and our videogame guide below explains where to find them and how to secure this area.

Rimview Ranch Freakers Nest 1

Days Gone Rimview Ranch Infestation Nest Location 1The first Rimview Ranch Infestation Nest on our map above is located inside a small red cabin, on the hill just above the tunnel behind Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway Nero Checkpoint.

Instead of looking for it in the said tunnel, head up the hill to find it.

This nest is inside a bathroom and when you burn it, 5 Swarmers will come out.

After you secure the house, strategically explore it because there is a large number of Materials such as Kerosene, Rags, Beer Bottles and Boxes of Nails to be found.

Rimview Ranch Freakers Nest 2

Days Gone Rimview Ranch Infestation Nest Location 2The second Freaker Nest at this location is inside a small barn, south from the previous one, but on the same hill.

Although small, this barn is inhabited by 10 Freakers (Swarmers and Bleachers).

Set it on fire, then immediately throw another Molotov to burn the first wave of enemies that spawn.

Inside this barn, you’ll only find a Nest Residue.

Rimview Ranch Freakers Nest 3

Days Gone Rimview Ranch Infestation Nest Location 3The third Days Gone Rimview Ranch Infestation Nest is inside a cave, south from the previous two. This is by far the trickiest Nest because during the day a Horde sleeps inside.

If you’re not well equipped, then we suggest you set it on fire, then simply run away. On the other hand, if you are ready to face a large Horde, burn the nest then get ready to face an army of Freakers.

Obviously, there are many methods to deal with this Infestation, but keep in mind that in order to clear an Infested Area, the only thing you have to do is to burn the nest.

Killing all Freakers is not required. Either way, once you burn the third Nest the Infestation is cleared.
