Belknap Caves Ambush Camp is located north-east of Crazy Willie’s Infestation, west of Cascade Radio Tower Ambush Camp and south of Marion Forks Tunnel Nero Checkpoint in Belknap region (see above).
Days Gone Belknap Caves is a location that must be explored in order to complete the Ambush Camp Hunter Storyline.
This Ambush Camp, unlike Black Crater, is guarded by 14 Marauders, not Rippers; however, what makes this camp more difficult than the rest is the fact that it’s located in a Horde Territory.
This means that you’ll need to remain silent at all costs otherwise you might be attacked by a Horde. Additionally, if the enemies see you and start shooting they will also alert the Freakers.
Getting Inside
Getting inside Belknap Caves Ambush Camp is quite challenging because this place is filled with traps.
We suggest you use the path close to the mountain, on the right side as you face the camp (pictured). Make sure you look for traps especially tripwires that can alert all nearby enemies. Using the Crossbow or a weapon with a Suppressor is mandatory.
As you move up the hill, take out all solitary guards, such as the one repairing the car, and do not blow up the gate on the left side. If you fully investigate the area you’ll also notice the bunker hatch.
The Sniper overseeing the valley below the camp must be killed from behind. Remember that even if you alert the Marauders as long as they don’t see you, they won’t fire.
Belknap Caves Bunker Location
The Bunker at this location is on top of the hill close to the path we have indicated.
You should see it at the edge of the cliff.
Unlocking Belknap Caves
The map you’re looking for at this location is sitting on a green table in a room on the right side of the main corridor opposed to the Gun Locker.
Once you get the map and the notes, Days Gone Belknap Caves Ambush Camp is marked as completed.
