Where to Buy Clothes in Red Dead Redemption 2 – An Ultimate Guide

This is probably the most extensive guide on where you can buy clothes in Red Dead Redemption 2. Fitting to the game, we wanted to create one huge resource so that players can learn every detail about this part of the game.

Like most Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2 includes a dynamic range of character customization. While good equipment is crucial for the success of Arthur’s journey, his wardrobe does not hold any less significance.

While a classy outfit can supplement Arthur’s sharp shooting for some bonus style points. His clothing also plays an important role in the game’s new thermal mechanics.

The world of Red Dead 2 encompasses many different landscapes accompanied by diverse climatic conditions. That is to say, the new mechanics require Arthur to dress according to the environment as temperature affects Arthur’s health.

To elaborate, wearing light clothing in colder temperatures will deplete your health, while heavier clothes will do the same in hot conditions.

Note: You can press down on the D-pad to get a temperature reading in either Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Lucky for us, Red Dead Redemption 2 offers a variety of clothing options. Some of these will be available to you from the get-go – while unlocking others may require some additional effort.

But you don’t have to worry as we have got you covered. Keep in mind these outfit combos are not set in stone, as each outfit can be modified. Additionally, you can also mix and match from the components of different outfits/clothing sets to create a look you like.

Below we will take an extensive look at all the locations and sources you can acquire some exotic new outfits from. Some you can buy from your hard-earned gold while others can be crafted from various components. Let us dive straight into it.
