The Division 2 Wraith Mask

The Wraith Mask is also one of the 12 Hidden Hunter Masks featured in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2; the video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft for PS4Xbox One, and PC.

Unlike the Demon Mask, we have covered earlier; the Division 2 Wraith Mask is dropped by a Hunter in the Southwest area of the game.

Below we’ll explain how to get this unique item and how to make the Hunter spawn.

Division 2 Wraith Mask Hunter Location

As you can observe on the map below, the location of this Hunter is east of Liberty’s Call Safehouse.

More precisely you’ll have to travel east of 2nd St SW.

At this location, you’ll find a monument or a memorial dedicated to people who have died protecting their country.

On the back of the memorial, you’ll see multiple posters showing missing persons in Washington D.C.

Again, before trying to kill the boss who has the Wraith Mask, make sure you unlock the Safehouse nearby, in case you don’t succeed in taking him out on your first try.

Requirements

Since there are no side-missions in this spot, and because it’s in the opening, the only requirement to trigger the Hunter is to arrive here at night.

You can check the in-game time, or the time of the day by accessing the Photo Mode.

The time is displayed on the right side, so make sure it’s after 7:00 PM; although the later you get here the better.

If by any chance you arrive at the monument too early, spend your time looking for Collectibles in this area or for SHD Tech Caches.

Puzzle Solution

To make the Wraith Mask Hunter spawn, first of all you have to place yourself in front of the monument, right below the flag.

While facing them memorial notice the light in the left corner of the pool. Shoot it to leave the monument in total darkness.

Now open your Emotes Menu by pressing down on your D-Pad and select the Salute emote.

The Division 2 Wraith Mask PuzzleOnce you salute the memorial, the Wraith Hunter will spawn right behind the large plaque with names on it.

If he doesn’t spawn, double-check the time, or Salute the memorial several times. Assuming he still fails to appear, log out and return to the memorial.

Killing the Wraith Mask Hunter

Although it can be killed while playing solo, we suggest hunting this one in a group of at least two. That’s because this Division 2 Hunter, will constantly deploy a drone which is far more dangerous than him.

Obviously, if you’re up for a challenge, you can try to take him on alone; but in this case, you might want to kite him to the park across the street where you’ll usually find a rival gang.

It is the same strategy we have used to take out the Crimson Hunter, but this time we’ll lure the Hunter to enemy territory.

While the Hunter’s drone is busy with them, you should be able to deal with him.

Again, you build plays the most important role in this fight.

Along with the Wraith Mask, you’ll also get an Ivory Key from this Hunter.

The Division 2 Ivory Key can be used to open a weapon box (see below) at the White House. This box is located in the same room as the Barber.

Fast Travel to the Headquarters at the White House, and check the right side of the main corridor on the bottom floor.
