Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: How to Use Fast Travelling

The Division 2 Fast Travelling

Similar to other open-world video games, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Fast Travelling system allows you to quickly move between specific locations within the borders of Washington D.C.

To Fast Travel in The Division 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, you don’t have to complete tasks; meaning that unlike the Clans and the Crafting Station, this feature is unlocked automatically very early in the game.

It’s worth mentioning though, that in The Division 2 you can’t freely Fast Travel; thus below we discuss the locations which allow you to use this function, and obviously how you can Fast Travel.

How to Fast Travel in The Division 2

Once you start the game, you’ll notice that the Fast Travelling in The Division 2 is almost identical to the one from the previous title in the series.

All you have to do is to open your map, then cycle between the multiple locations available.

Place your cursor on the location you wish to visit and look for the Fast Travel button in the lower left corner of the screen.

If the option is available, simply press and hold the corresponding button ( on PS4 or X on Xbox One), and you’ll be automatically sent to that location.

Unfortunately, the option to Fast Travel doesn’t’ work for some locations; so here is where you can use it.

The Division 2 Fast Travel Locations

By default, the game allows you to Fast Travel to the White House since this is your Base of Operations and most important location in The Division 2.

You are also allowed to Fast Travel to all Settlements including  The Theater, The Campus and Castle.

Furthermore, you can quickly move between the locations where the game’s story missions take place; however, the Fast Travel works only after you complete them.

This option is particularly useful if you want to replay the missions.

Finally, some Control Points also allow you to Fast Travel.

So what’s the best choice if you wish to cover a long distance, but the location you want to visit, doesn’t have a Fast Travel option?

Simply teleport to the nearest location, and from there start walking on foot. While this may not be the most convenient way, it’s the only option you have.
