Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Electronics Crafting Material Location

Electronics is another type of Crafting Materials from Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, the videogame developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The Electronics in Division 2 are used at the Workbench in association with other materials, to craft Gear.

Electronics Description

“Crafting material used for making advanced gear components. Intelligence suggests that the Hyenas gather these components as they held a high value before the collapse.

Electronics are increasingly used for creating advanced equipment and there are many wearable solutions for both military and civilian use.

Electronics are made up of many materials and components with custom circuitry that can be altered by soldering or in some cases programming.

Electronics are not biodegradable and it will often take hundreds of years to decompose.

The Division 2 Electronics Locations

As with all other Crafting Materials, there are several methods to get Electronics in Division 2. Below we explain some of them.

Hyenas Gang Members

Unlike the Ceramics and Carbon Fibers, the Electronics are dropped by enemies from the Hyenas Faction. From them, you’ll also get Polycarbonate.

Although you’ll encounter them almost everywhere, they are found in larger numbers in the Downtown East area.

They are led by the Hyena Council and you can identify them by the gas masks and riot helmets.

This faction uses the following archetypes: Thrower, Rusher, Assault, Sniper, Controller, and Heavy Medic.

Looting Containers

Looting as many containers as you can while exploring  Washington D.C is another way to get Electronics.

Pay attention to the environment while playing missions, or free-roaming and always check the Supply Rooms you unlock at Control Points.

Here is a small box containing Electronics.

Specialized Materials Pack

Alternatively, you can get more Electronics from the Ubisoft Store. They are included in the Specialized Material Pack you can redeem in exchange for 20 Ubisoft Club Points.

It contains just 15 Electronics, but it also comes with 15 Carbon Fiber and 15 Titanium. Only one pack can be redeemed per account. This pack is very useful early in the game.
