Location & Rewards
|Wizard Island Camp Trust Points:||1100|
Spruce Lake Ambush Camp is located south-west of Wizard Island, and south of Diamond Lake Camp in Crater Lake Region (see above).
Days Gone Spruce Lake is a location that must be explored in order to complete the Ambush Camp Hunter Storyline.
This Ambush Camp is guarded by 15 Marauders, which are more dangerous than those from other Regions.
Luckily there are several tricks you can use to deal with them faster.
Getting inside Spruce Lake Ambush Camp is easier than you think. Although you can try taking out enemies from distance, we suggest going inside the camp. Furthermore, you should do this at night.
The reason for which we encourage you to do this is quite simple. First, because Spruce Lake Ambush Camp is also a Checkpoint, and more important, it’s located in front of a tunnel where a Horde is hiding.
Furthermore, by visiting this location at night, you’ll most likely find 8 guards engaged in a fistfight.
So, what you want to do when you get here, is to find the hole in the fence (pictured) on the right side of the main gate.
Remain hidden and take out the sniper overseeing the entrance, then find the guards who are having fun in the middle of the camp.
Throw a grenade to kill all 8 at the same time. This will alert the Horde inside the tunnel, which will deal with the remaining Marauders.
Simply exit the camp but stay close to the fence until all Marauders are dead, and the Horde retreats inside the tunnel.
Spruce Lake Bunker Location
The Bunker at Spruce Lake Ambush Camp is located inside a large tent, behind the hole in the fence.
In the picture above, you can see that it’s very close to the main gate.
Unlocking Spruce Lake
The map you’re looking for at this location is sitting on a table, next to the ladder you use to get inside the bunker.
Once you get the map and the notes, this Days Gone Ambush Camp is marked as complete.
