Death Stranding Compared To A Netflix Series By SIE Worldwide President

Death Stranding Netflix

Shuhei Yoshida, president of SIE Worldwide Studios has played Death Stranding and after playing the game for around 10 hours he compared it to a Netflix Original series. He mentioned that after playing the game for so long it seems that things are just getting started and that there is a lot to do.

This means that Death Stranding might take a very long time to complete and even longer if you are interested in getting all the trophies. Here is what Shuhei Yoshida had to say about the game:

I would compare the story with a very good Netflix original series. I feel like I’ve reached only half of that series, and there are still many possibilities for what can happen next.

This means that this is going to be a very high-quality game and that is very exciting indeed. We expect nothing less from Hideo Kojima and I hope that the game meets the very high expectations of the fans around the world. Yoshida also mentioned that the second half of the game is going to be emotional and players might even cry. Here is what he had to say regarding the matter:

Also, I heard that you will definitely cry when you reach the second half of the game. The staff at Kojima Productions told me this, and even the Sony debuggers also told me.

A heart touching story would be a nice addition and it shows that the plot is going to be such a strong one that the players will feel an emotional connection. That is something that fans will appreciate. Kojima has confirmed that he himself has taken part in writing the story so things should be very interesting indeed. Kojima has set pretty high standards for himself and it will be interesting to see what he comes up with next.

Kojima has already addressed people calling the game a walking simulator and he has also mentioned that even he does not fully understand the game. Kojima mentioned that a lot of the gameplay and the plot has not been revealed because playing the game is part of the experience. He did say that watching the trailers in the right chronological order does reveal part of the plot.

Death Stranding will be available on PS4 on November 8th.
