Samara is an Asari justicar who has powerful biotic abilities. Samara has three daughters, Falere, Rila, and Morinth. Falere and Rila live their life in isolation. Whereas, Morinth ran away and started killing many people. Samara then took it upon herself to bring her daughter to justice. How to Romance Samara in Mass Effect
Samara’s daughters are Ardat-Yakshi, meaning that they have to live their lives in isolation. They cannot mate with another person as they will devour their minds and kill the other person. Samara can be romanced both by Shephard male and female.
Mass Effect 2
After completing the Dossier: The Justicar mission, you can recruit her. Avoid going for the Renegade options. She can speak to her in the Starboard Observation section of the Normandy. To romance her, you will have to complete Samara: The Ardat-Yakshi her loyalty mission. If you side with her and get to kill Morinth, then you can advance your chances. If you side with Morinth or fail to complete the mission, romancing her will no longer be an option.
After talking to her on the Normandy, choose the “I want more” option. Make sure to have low Renegade points. After this, select the “I don’t accept that” and “Everybody needs comfort” options. She will leave the room, and your romance will end here for Mass Effect 2. She favors justice over relationships, so she needs time to think over this. Prevent her from dying in the Suicide Mission so that she appears in Mass Effect 3.
Mass Effect 3
After completing the Priority: The Citadel II main mission, you can see her in the Kallini: Ardat-Yakshi Monastery mission. She is not a part of the regular Normandy crew. You will have to save Samara here as she tries to suicide. You need to choose the Paragon interrupt to stop her from shooting herself in the head.
Romancing her is available in the Citadel DLC in the Legendary Edition. If you select the “I’ve really missed you” option, she will take you to her apartment. After this, you can see a small romance scene. The scene is not much, but at least you can have some romance scene with Samara.
