The Mass Effect Trilogy has multiple squadmates with whom Shephard can have a relationship. One of those squadmates is Ashley Williams. How to Romance Ashley in Mass Effect
You can romance Ashley in Mass Effect 1,2, and 3. However, doing so will require determination.
Mass Effect 1
Romancing Ashley in the first game is pretty straightforward. You have to spend time with her whenever you can. Remember that if you want to romance her, you need to be Male Shepard. You can find her in the storage section of the Normandy.
After every main or side mission try to visit her and talk or flirt with her. Apart from exhausting the dialogue options, make sure to choose options that can win her affection. If you show that you care a lot about humanity and paragon, you can increase your status. By interacting with her often, you will surely romance her. By the end of the game, she will fall for you.
Mass Effect 2
In Mass Effect 2, you can romance Ashley relatively more manageable than in the other two games. Until you reach Horizon Colony, you can engage in any other relationship or wait for Ashley. After you arrive at Horizon Colony in the story, you will meet Ashley. She will be delighted to see that Shephard is alive. If you have romanced her in the first game, she will still have a liking to you. You can continue your relationship with her or can go for another squadmate.
Mass Effect 3
If you want to romance Ashley in the last game of the franchise, you will have to work for it. After being released from the hospital, you will need to convince her to turn against Councilman Udina. This is when he sides with Cerberus. You might need Charm or Intimidation if your relationship with her is not that great. If you fail to convince her, then she will die. The next time you see her, it will be near your ship. She will ask you for reassignment, and you can recruit her now.
After recruiting her, you will need to talk and flirt with her the same as you did in the previous games. The more time you spend with her, the more she will take a liking to you. She can be located in the Starboard Observation Deck of the Normandy. Before the end of the game, you will be able to romance her.
