How To Kill A Scrapper In Horizon Zero Dawn
The Scrapper only has a couple of weak points that you can target in order to deal high damage. We suggest using a stealth approach in order to avoid being detected and taking any damage. Stick to the tall grass and use a silent strike in order to deal heavy damage to the Scrapper. This is going to do a significant amount of damage even though it might not kill the machine.
The body of the machine is not weak against any element so blindly shooting at the body is not an effective way of killing it and it is not something that we recommend. Use your focus to scan the enemy and find the weak points. The Scrapper has a radar on its back which it can use to scan. You can shoot at it with Tear arrows in order to disable the scanning ability. This is going to make the encounter much easier.
The other weak spot that the scrapper has is the power cell. You can shoot at it with Shock and Tear arrows. Using Shock arrows is going to trigger an explosion and it will shock the enemy. You can use tear arrows to remove the component and then pick it up later.
