Going Medieval Research

Researching in Going Medieval is an essential part of making your colony thrive. More research makes the life of the villagers easier. In addition, researching allows you to increase the overall technology in your colony. This guide will include all the details on how Research works in Going Medieval.

What Research Does and How it Works in Going Medieval

Researching unlocks more construction options that lead to better armor, weapons and food, and more, all of which can help your colony. To start research, the first thing you need to build is a research table.

Construct the table somewhere inside of a room beneath a roof. You can set it up in the central part of your village. The table needs to be surrounded by walls and a roof to research at an increased rate. Next, you can assign a villager that has high skills in intellect so that they can research better.

Go to the jobs section of the game, and here you can see the research category. Select a villager that you think is good for the task. A villager with stars in the particular skill can also improve as they research. Once all of this is done, you need to unlock the technologies by investing Chronicle piles into them.

You need to store Chronicle piles in stockpiles as they are items and they start to decompose. However, they will decompose faster in the hot temperature of summertime. Because of this, you will need to make sure that the stockpile is beneath the ground level and have walls and a roof around it. This will keep the piles safe and dry.
