Going Medieval Meat Guide: How To Hunt For Meat

Going Medieval Meat

Going Medieval is a strategy and simulation game. It requires you to take care of your colony being keeping them fed and having houses for them to stay in. If the people that are settled in your colony are not fed, they will die. To avoid this, you will have to gather food by hunting. This Going Medieval guide will include all the details on how you can make your settlers hunt and acquire the meat from animals.

How to Hunt and Get Meat in Going Medieval

There are countless animals you can hunt in the game. All of these animals will provide you with meat which is necessary for your people to survive.

Selecting Animals to Hunt

On the bottom of your screen, you can see an option named “Hunt”. The first way to select an animal that you want to hunt is by selecting the animal and pressing M. You can also press the Hunt option, and this will make your settlers go to the animal and hunt it. You can also select multiple animals that you want to Hunt.

Go to the Hunt menu and mark an entire area with the animals you want to hunt. You can choose the size of the area depending on the animals in it. All animals in the area will be marked, and you can make your settlers hunt them. Beware of selecting multiple animals like wolves which might attack the settlers during the hunt.

Assigning a Settler to Hunt

Open up the Job mean on the top of your screen and select a settler. Do remember all settlers can do one job. So make sure you do not force one person to do both construction and hunt as he will not have the time to hunt. After going into the Jobs menu, you can select any settler that you would like to have the responsibility of hunting. You can also select the job’s priority allowing your settlers to do one first that is of high priority.
