Going Medieval Roof

Going Medieval is a strategy game that involves you take to control of your colony. Keeping the people fed and safe that have settled in your colony is your number one priority. It would be best if you made sure that every settler has a place to stay in. The houses should have proper walls, a roof, and a door that allows them to come in. This guide will include all the details on how to build a roof on your structures in Going Medieval.

How to Build a Roof in Going Medieval

Building a roof requires walls underneath it to support it. The first thing you will need to do is build some walls as the foundation of the house. Select the build menu at the bottom of your screen. After this, select an area in your colony and set up the walls in a square pattern.

However, make sure you leave one space for the door to ensure that the settlers can enter. You will not have many different materials at the start of the game. Thus you will have to make everything using wood or stone. After constructing the walls, next are the supports for the roof/.

If you have constructed a large house, then you will need support structures for your roof. Keep in mind that you should not assume that the house bases on your own assumption. Most players think the house is big and make support which is not needed in the first place.

However, when you make a big house and construct a roof, you will be prompted to build support. In this case, you will have to make the support for the roof. You can find supports in the Research tab, which shows structures like Wooden Beam, which can support roofs or two-story houses.

Placing the Roof

Once you have constructed the support, then comes the roof. Go to the build option and select the Wicker Roof option. Here you can see multiple roofs which you can make from different kinds of materials. Select one and place the roof on the corners of the walls.

As the game will show you the shape of the roof, you can adjust it to be perfectly aligned. As soon as you confirm the construction, you will see your settlers making their way to construct the roof. Make sure that you make roofs from materials you have a high amount of.
