Treasure maps can be used to find resources in God Of War. There are 12 in total and finding them will give you plenty of resources to craft items and gear. In this God Of War treasure maps guide, we are going to walk you through where you can find the different treasure maps in the game.
God Of War Treasure Maps Locations
The following are the different treasure maps in God of War and how you can solve them.
Hunter’s Kingdom
You will find the Lookout Tower boat dock at the southeastern part of the Lake of Nine. Once here, take a boat and head up along the beach. Defeat the nightmares that you find on your way. You can get Atreus to pick up the shiny scroll that is on the sand.
Once you have the map, you can head to Veithurgard. Go to the far left area which is close to the big door with rune locks. Defeat the enemies in the area. Go to the door on your left. Which is close to the lore maker. Here you will find a bunch of little stones and this is where the treasure is hidden.
The Boat Captain’s Key
The treasure map is located in Stone Falls. There is a big waterfall here which shows you that you are in the right place. The treasure map is on the beach close to where the boat pulls up.
The treasure can be found inside the hull of a wrecked ship that can be found on the top of the Isle of Death. This is the largest island which is on the southwestern side of Tyr’s Temple, so you really can’t miss it.
Dead and Bloated
Access Volunder Mines via Cliffs of the Raven. Take Brok’s Labour and go through the first chamber. Kill the enemies that you encounter on your way. Open the door and follow the path to the right. You will find a chain at the end and you need to go down it. You will find the treasure map next to a Red chest.
Go to the Cliffs of the Raven. You will find the treasure in a pile of rocks close to the giant’s stomach.
Don’t Blink
This treasure map can be found next to a dead knight close to the alter in Fafnir’s Vault. You need the Bifrost crystal in order to solve this treasure map. Head up the mountain and you will find yourself under the stone face. Go down the path and you will find a stone pile. This is where the treasure is.
The Turtle’s Tribute
The great thing about this one is that the map and the treasure are close to one another. You will find the map in the lower level of the Witch Cave. Climb the block that is barred by branches in the room on the right and here is where you will find the map.
Go back to the Witch’s Woods. You will find the treasure on the right of the giant turtles head.
Kneel Before Thor
Go to the Landsuther Mines which are on the southwestern side of the Lake of Nine. While going all the way down, go down the track and jump in the lift on the left. You fill find a Red chest in a little gap and the treasure map.
The treasure is located at the base of the statue of Thor.
Creation Island
Go to Iron Cove on the western side of Lake of Nine. The treasure map is located up the beach in a little alcove at the top left of the beach.
Go to Buri’s Storeroom on the eastern side of the map. The treasure is on the far eastern side of the island, opposite the main landing, nestled in the rocks to the right.
The Last Place They’d Look
At the top of the lift inside the mountain, you will see a pathway lined with explosive red crystals. Follow the path and you will find the treasure map inside a small hut.
Go to the Council of Valkyries north of the Mason’s Channel. Face the big stone head with the waterfall mouth in front. The treasure is on the left of the Valkyrie throne.
Island of Light
Warp to the Stone Falls Mystic Gateway and you will find the treasure map to the right of your boat.
Go to Light Elf Outpost at the northern side of the Lake of Nine. South of the Ruins of the Ancients, go to the top of the island. Now go down the chains at the northern side of the island. You will find a gate on the edge of the rocky outcrop. This is where you will find the treasure.
Njord’s Oarsman
From the North Stronghold go to the giant boat at the end of the trail where the battle took place. Go to the small opening underneath it. Here you will find the map next to a dead soldier.
Go to the Stone Falls. From the mystic gateway, climb the side of the mountain. Go past the slim edge of a rock. Climb up to the first ledge. Turn right, and go through the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, you will find the treasure in front of you.
Finder’s Fee
This map is located in the Forgotten Caverns. Take a boat and go west from the Alfheim Tower and cross the lake. Dock at the beach. Ahead you will find a restless spirit. Go into the cave with the Mystic Gateway and wooden chest. Turn right and go into the next cave. The map is on the floor and it is going to be the first thing that you see when you enter the cave.
At Northr Stronghold climb up the side of the platform between the two giant metal doors on the water by the boat dock. The treasure is on a small platform in the center.
The Historian
Go to Ruins of the Ancient. Dock your boat and defeat the ancient. The treasure map can be found on the sand inside the arena.
At the back of the open-air area of Fafnir’s Storeroom, you will find a path that leads to a door guarded by two giant wooden rams. The treasure is under the left one behind the fire.
