Genshin Impact Cor Lapis Guide: How To Find And Use

Genshin Impact does not have any shortage of materials to grind for. While some of them are ranked a bit higher than others, there are also the ones that are just generally good to have. Take Cor Lapis as an example.

However, finding this very Cor Lapis can prove to be needlessly troublesome. First, you need to know the exact locations, then comes the obtaining method, and you finally end up with a minuscule amount of Cor Lapis.

In this guide, we will be showcasing the best method of finding and using Cor Lapis in Genshin Impact. So, let’s jump in and get started!

What Is Cor Lapis?

Cor Lapis is a local specialty that you can easily find in many areas across the world of Teyvat in Liyue.

Cor Lapis

There are over a hundred Cor Lapis deposits in Liyue. However, most of them aren’t very efficient when it comes to farming.

Since this ingredient is tuned in multiple crafting recipes, you’d have to keep a keen eye on it in order to optimize your power leveling.

How To Get Cor Lapis In Genshin Impact

While the material itself is considered to be scattered across Liyue, you can still find it concentrated in the following three areas:

  • Mt. Hulao
  • Lingju Pass
  • Luhua Pool

All of these areas are rather unique in terms of their expansiveness and overall visual appeal. However, you’d still be able to find a decent amount of Cor Lapis here.

Mt. Hulao has a lot of Cor Lapis in quantity scattered on the top part of the mountain. Climbing the mountain can be somewhat of a time-consuming activity, but it is worth it.

2. Lingju Pass

You can also find Cor Lapis in Lingju Pass and Mt. Tianheng, near the Liyue Harbor. This area is pretty easy to traverse as long as you have nimble characters in your team.

3. Luhua Pool

The last area is the western coast of Luhua Pool and the Cuijue Slope. Since most of the Cor Lapis is guarded by the shore, it’ll be a bit troublesome to farm freely here.

Shop Availability

Apart from farming them in areas, there is also the option of buying them. The NPC, Changshun in Liyue sells one Cor Lapis for 1500 Mora. She has a stock of five which resets every three days.

Similarly, there’s a shop in Qiuwei that sells this item for 1000 Mora. However, reaching Qiuwei can feel a bit roundabout in terms of efficiency.

How To Obtain Cor Lapis In Genshin Impact?

You can harvest Cor Lapis by breaking the outer shell of Cor Lapis Nodes. You will be able to find these on the base of cliffs  – situated within caves and mines.

The most common areas for these cores are as follows:

  • Mt. Hulao
  • Cuijue Slope

Don’t bring sharp weapons to the mix; use blunk weapons or Geo-based damage to harvest them.

Cor Lapis Uses

The primary reason for farming Cor Lapis is for character ascension. You will require around 170 Cor Lapis each for ChongyunKeqing, and Zhongli to complete their ascension.
