Qiqi is a cryo user and technically a zombie. She is also one of the best healers in Genshin Impact. She is not going to do much unless you level her up and provide her with the right artifacts and weapon. In this Genshin Impact guide, we are going to go over the materials that you need in order to level up Qiqi and recommend a build for her.
Genshin Impact Qiqi Ascension And Talent Materials
In order to make the most of the character, you will need to level her up and her talents. The following are all the materials that you need in order to do that.
Ascension Materials
The following are the ascension materials that you need in order to level up Qiqi to 90:
- 1x Shivada Jade Sliver
- 9x Shivada Jade Fragment
- 9x Shivada Jade Chunk
- 6x Shivada Jade Gemstone
- 46x Hoarfrost Core
- 168x Violetgrasss
- 18x Divining Scroll
- 30x Sealed Scroll
- 36x Forbidden Curse Scroll
Shivada Jade Sliver and higher-tier variants of the resource can be farmed by beating Lupus Boreas or the Cryo Regisvine. Cryo Regisvine also drops Hoarfrost Core, so this is the boss that you should prioritize. Once you have the base variant of the resource, you can use the crafting bench to craft the higher-tier variants. Violetgrasss can be found in the open world. Common locations include Mingyun Village and Qingce Village. Divining Scroll and higher-tier variants of the resource can be farmed by beating Samachurls. You can then use the crafting bench to convert the lower-tier variants of the resource into higher-tier versions.
Talent Materials
The following are all the materials that you need in order to upgrade all of Qiqi’s talents:
- 9x Teachings of Prosperity
- 63x Guide to Prosperity
- 114x Philosophies of Prosperity
- 18x Divining Scroll
- 30x Sealed Scroll
- 36x Forbidden Curse Scroll
- 18x Tail of Boreas
- 3x Crown of Insight
The Tail of Boreas can be obtained by beating the Wolf of the North weekly challenge. You can only get rewards from this challenge once a week so farming this can take a while. If you have other dropped items from this boss then you can swap those for Tail of Boreas at the crafting station if you have Dream Solvent. You can get Crown of Insight from special events and by upgrading the shrine tree in Inazuma.
Best Genshin Impact Qiqi Build
Leveling up Qiqi and her talents is not going to be enough. You also need the right artifact and weapons in order to make the most of her. The following is the build that we recommend for Qiqi in Genshin Impact.
Best Weapons
If you are going for a healer build then we can recommend the Summit Shaper. This is a 5-star weapon so you will have to spend your Primogems on the weapon banner in order to get it. The weapon has attack% as the bonus stat and it increases shield strength by 20%. Attacking enemies increases attack by 4% and this can stack up to 5 times. If you are protected by a shield then attack is increased by 100%.
Aquila Favonia is another 5-star weapon that we can recommend. It has bonus physical damage as the bonus stat and increases attack by 20%. When you take damage, Falcon of the West is triggered which regenerates HP equal to 100% of attack and deals 200% of attack as DMG to enemies around you. This can only occur once every 15 seconds.
Sacrificial Sword is a 4-star weapon that we can recommend for Qiqi. It has energy recharge as the bonus stat and has a chance of canceling the cooldown of your elemental skill. Allowing you to spam your elemental skill.
If you are going for a hybrid cryo build then we can recommend the Skyward Blade. This has energy recharge as the bonus stat and it increases crit rate by 4%. When you use your elemental burst, you get movement and attack speed buffs of 10%. It also increases normal and charged attack damage by 20% for 12 seconds.
Best Artifacts
We recommend using the Maiden Beloved set if you are going for a healer build. This is going to increase healing effectiveness by 15% and using your elemental skill or burst is going to increase the healing received by all party members by 20% for 10 seconds. This will allow you to do a lot of healing for yourself and your team.
We can also recommend going with 2-piece Maiden Beloved and 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale. This is going to increase your healing effectiveness by 15% and give you an 18% attack buff.
If you are going for a hybrid cryo build then we can recommend the Tenacity of the Millelith set. This increases HP by 20% and when your elemental skill hits an enemy, the attack of party members near you is increased by 20% while their shield strength is increased by 30% for 3 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds.
