Any sword or melee kill you perform while having the mod equipped allows you to generate an Orb of Power. If you defeat combatants with melee damage and Swords while Charged with Light it will spawn an Orb of Power for your allies. However, you will lose one stack of Charged with Light. On top of that, it also gives damage resistance while sprinting.
