Destiny 2 has plenty of secrets and in this Await the World-Eater quest guide, we are going to go over how you can get this quest and complete it. You can get Legend of Acrius exotic weapon which is a very powerful shotgun. To complete this quest you need to complete the Leviathan Raid as well, so be sure to have a fire team that knows how to complete the raid.
You can get the quest step by doing patrols in EDZ. I got it while I jumped on one of the Cabal comm systems. The quest is going to fall into the powerful weapons slot. In order to complete the quest, you will need to go to Nessus and recover communication ciphers from the Red Legion.
Head over to Nessus and kill Cabal enemies until you have got all the needed ciphers. Lost sectors and adventures are great to get all the ciphers that you need. Once you have done this, the quest will update to Await The World-Eater step in Destiny 2. This is the point where you need to complete the Leviathan Raid.
Once you have completed the Leviathan Raid, you will have to go to the tower and talk to the representative of the emperor at the tower and he will give you another quest which opens up a special version of the Arms Deale strike. Once you have completed the strike, you will get the Legend of Acrius exotic shotgun.
The weapon can fire a single shot per magazine which does a lot of damage. The bullets over-penetrate targets as well. The downside is that the gun is very slow to use. You can upgrade this weapon to make it even better. You will need to kill some enemies and Trostland on EDZ is the best place to do that.
Next, you will need to get seals. In order to do this, you will need to run the Leviathan raid yet again. You will get seals for completing different encounters in the raid. When you have upgraded the weapon, you get another round and wider radar detection which can be very useful.
