Destiny 2 Expunge Styx Quest Guide: How To Start

Destiny 2 Expunge Styx Quest

Destiny 2 is available free on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The latest mission in the Season of the Splicer is Expunge Styx. The mission is quite easy to complete; however, unlocking it requires some tasks to be done. This guide will include all the details on how to unlock and complete Expunge Styx in Destiny 2.

How to Unlock the Expunge Styx Quest in Destiny 2

Mithrax will be the person who will hand you the Expunge Styx quest. However, you need to complete some tasks beforehand to be able to start the mission. Weekly quest is what comes first to do. Make your way to H.E.L.M and complete the weekly quests.

You also need to kill some enemies to collect ether. You will then need the ether to create a key code at the Splicer Gauntlet. After this, complete an Override activity. Lastly, you have to complete Path of the Splicer IV. Doing all of these will unlock your Expunge Styx mission which you can pick up on Moon.

How to Complete

After accepting the quest, make your way through the green labyrinth. After you complete Expunge Labyrinth, look for a shard. Shoot it so that it spawns a key that needs to be put inside a Vex Connector. You have to put the key in the connector while avoiding enemy fire in less than five seconds. You will have to use five kets in total on different Vex Connectors.

Before picking the third key and fourth key, you will have to deal with Nexus Guardians. Oppressive Mind is the final boss of the mission, which appears after you activate the fourth Vex Connector. As you fight with the boss, the fifth key will spawn. Use the key to activate the connector and then kill the Mind to complete the quest.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
