New Legend – Crypto
Crypto is the new Legend in the new season of Apex Legends. He is an elite hacker and an engineer that can use his drone to recon the area around him. His abilities make scouting a lot easier. He can share the information that he sees with the rest of the squad as well.
Crypto can use his drone to mark enemies in the arena which can then be seen by your squad. This is possible even through walls.
New Battle Pass
The new season comes with a new battle pass which has some unique cosmetics items for you to earn. If you level up the battle pass enough, you can get enough in-game currency to buy the next battle pass.
New Charge Rifle Weapon
This is part of the common loot pool and hence can be found anywhere in the arena. As the name implies, the rifle takes a moment to charge before the shot is fired. The weapon does 45 damage to the body and can be equipt with different attachments.
Rank Series 2
Apex Legends did have Elite Queue but a rank mode was released later on. In the new season, we get the new series of the rank mode.
World’s Edge
This is the new map that has been introduced in season 3 of the game. it is larger and more diverse as compared to King’s Canyon. The new map encourages close-quarters combat and long-distance combat as well.
The map is very beautiful and the environments are varied. You will see green fields, ice and even molten lava. All these areas are connected by a train.
