The Apex Legends Elite Queue mode puts players that places in the top 5 of recent games together into a single match. Hence you are up against some of the best players in the game. In order to continue playing in the Elite Queue, you must continue to be the top 5 placed teams in the Elite Queue game mode.

If you fail to fall in the top 5 then you will be pushed out of the Elite Queue and you will need to gain access all over again. While this is not a ranked mode in the traditional sense, you will be up against some of the best players that the community has to offer.

The circle damage is different for the Elite Queue. This is so that camping and be eliminated from this game mode. The first circle does 15% extra damage. The 2nd one does 20% more damage. All the remaining circles do 25% more damage. It is worth mentioning that the circles close faster as well.
