After the first MK 11 Kombat Kast event, alongside Kabal, NetherRealm Studios and Ed Boon also revealed D’Vorah as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 11.
Unlike Kabal, or the (also) recently announced Kano, D’Vorah can be considered a new character to the Mortal Kombat franchise; since she debuted in Mortal Kombat X which was released in 2015.
A member of the Kytinn race, she comes from Arnyek islands in the Outworld. Her home; however, was conquered by Shao Kahn. Instead of joining the slaves, D’Vorah decided to serve Shao Kahn.
An ambitious servant, D’Vorah ascended, becoming Kotal Kahn’s advisor and first minister. She also helped Kotal Kahn in defeating Mileena.
As a playable MKXI character, D’Vorah was announced during an Inside Xbox stream which followed the first Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Kast.
Even though at this point the details are scarce, we expect to see her during the next Kombat Kast; scheduled for February 14, 2019.
Mortal Kombat 11 becomes available April 23, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
The game’s cover art features Scorpion, and there are 3 MK11 editions available for pre-order. You can learn more about them here, or you can already reserve a copy of the video game from Gamestop (US) or GAME (UK).
