Start the mission by talking to Maximo

Talk to him first and follow our Jack Hall Gang Treasure Hunt mission walkthrough below to complete this short assignment.

As Maximo introduces himself, he is a great explorer. Although nobody heard of him. But this is not important.

What’s important is the map he’s selling for 10 bucks. Is it too much for you? Wait a minute or two and he will lower the price to $5.

Or, you can kill him and loot his corpse, but be advised Arthur that this will cost you some honor. We suggest buying it for $5.

Great now! Open your map and take a look at it. That hill in the picture is actually Caliban’s Seat. Ride there, cowboy, and if you need additional details on the location check the map above. It is marked by 2.

When you get to the top of the mountain known as Caliban’s Seat you should look around for a camp.

It might be deserted but it indicates the spot where you can descend the top of the mountain to a lower level.

Stick close to the wall and stay on the narrow ledges. Make sure you jump over the large gap and then climb. Now, descend again and you should see a wall painted in white with a crack in it.

Found it? If not check this picture.

Search the said wall for Jack Hall Gang Map 2 and a small treasure. Great now, we have the second Jack Hall Gang Map in Red Dead Redemption 2. Let’s check it out!

Hey, this place looks like Cotorra Spring, Arthur!

It’s a long ride but hopefully, it’s worth it. If you don’t know where Cottora Spring is, look on the map above.

Once you get to Cottora Springs, search for several rock formations.

The map is located inside one of them, as we show you in the picture. It’s quite easy to find because the rock formations are near the geysers.
