One month before the official release, Ubisoft announces the Far Cry: New Dawn system requirements for those who wish to play the PC version of the video game.

The release was made on ubisoft.com; so in case you wonder if your rig can run Far Cry: New Dawn, make sure you check the system requirements below.

As you can notice, the PC system specs for Far Cry: New Dawn are quite similar to those for Far Cry 5; which means that if you played the previous installment, you will most likely be able to play the new Far Cry.

Far Cry: New Dawn was announced at The Game Awards 2018. The video game is set seventeen years after Far Cry 5, and a narrative sequel to the previous title.

You’ll return to Hope County after a nuclear disaster, and you’ll try to rebuild the community, keeping it safe from Mickey and Lou; the twin sisters who are the game’s antagonists.

According to Ubisoft, in Far Cry: New Dawn you’ll meet some familiar faces and you’ll also find out what happened to the Deputy and Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5.

4K System Requirements (60FPS – Ultra Settings):

  • OS:  Windows 10 (64bit versions only)

  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 SLI (8GB) or AMD RX Vega 56 CFX (8GB) or better
  • AUDIO: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers
  • HDD: 30 GB
