DMC5 Releases in March 2019 and This Gamescom Trailer Is A Good Reason to Play It

Not bad...let's see what this can do!

Devil May Cry 5 Release Date

Gamescom 2018 is full of surprises, and one of them comes from Capcom who just revealed the official Devil May Cry 5 release date.

Obviously, the best way to announce the return of Nero and Dante is by premiering a new trailer; which looks absolutely gorgeous.

Originally announced at E3 2018, Devil May Cry 5 wasn’t a video game many were expecting to see. But Capcom is definitely good at surprising audiences. And they did just that with the first Devil May Cry 5 trailer.

Since then, however, several months have passed. New information about the characters and the weapons available in the game emerged; therefore Capcom decided it’s time to share with their fans the exact DMC5 release date.

Which is March 8, 2019!

If this is not enough, the studio also presented 15 minutes of raw Devil May Cry 5 gameplay.

Back to the trailer below, we can see Nero fighting waves of enemies and even some of the game’s bosses. His weapons, the turbo-charged demon cleaver Red Queen; as well as his piercing coaxial hand cannon Blue Rose; create the perfect combination for hacking and slashing the creatures of Hell.

One important twist that all DMC fans will probably love, is the appearance of Dante on his motorcycle, which, can split into two parts becoming a chainsaw!

Pretty amazing right?

Keep in mind though that according to Capcom: “humanity’s last hope will rest in the hands of three lone demon hunters, each offering a radically different play style.”

This means that besides Nero and Dante we should see a third demon hunter in Devil May Cry 5. Until we find out who he is, enjoy the trailer above, and don’t forget to pre-order Devil May Cry 5 if you wish to slay some demons next spring.

Devil May Cry 5 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
