Death Stranding is one of the most anticipated games coming out this year and Troy Baker claims that the game is going to make a statement. Troy Baker is known in the gaming industry of the amazing voice actor that he is. He seems genuinely excited about Death Stranding and that is very interesting indeed.
Death Stranding is a very mysterious game and we do not know much about it. Hideo Kojima, the mind behind the game has teased the fans now and then and has given vague remarks regarding what the game is about but we still do not know for sure. Plenty of people have their theories but we will know for sure once the game is out and we can play it.
Troy Baker mentioned that Death Stranding is going to make a statement when it comes out. Here is what he had to say regarding the game:
It’ll definitely be a statement. If you know anything about Kojima, he doesn’t make ‘games’. He’s an amazing world builder. He’s trying to move the medium forward, not just trying to move copies.
At this point, there is no need to push the game. There is so much hype around it that it is going to sell itself. Other than that fans are interested in knowing what the great Hideo Kojima has been working on for so long.
Troy Baker also mentioned that while there are plenty of big names in the game, Death Stranding is going to sell because of Hideo Kojima. The following is what he had to say regarding the matter:
This will be a game that names sell, and it won’t be Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, and it sure as sh*t won’t be Troy Baker. The name that’s going to sell this game is going to be Kojima.
