Cyberpunk 2077 To Have “Very Rewarding” Ending, Expansions Planned

Cyberpunk 2077 Ending

Cyberpunk 2077 is all the hype right now. With the E3 2019 trailer and release date reveal, CPDR has started to reveal new information regarding the upcoming game. UI coordinator Alvin Liu talked about the ending of Cyberpunk 2077 and mentioned that it is going to be very rewarding.

CDPR has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 does not have one ending but multiple ones. The ending of Cyberpunk 2077 will depend on the choices that you have made throughout the game. This is not something that is unheard of but we would like to see how this mechanic is implemented in Cyberpunk 2077.

Liu mentioned that players will meet different characters along their journey and will see these characters develop. Players will get to see them in conflicts and once those conflicts are resolved the ending is going to be very rewarding indeed. Interestingly the whole game is going to be available at launch. CDPR is not holding anything back. What you get at launch is the whole game that you can play from start to finish.

Liu was also asked about future expansions. The following is what he had to say about Cyberpunk 2077 expansions:

We are talking about expansions in the future. We want to make sure everything’s complete, but we also want to build open worlds. I know when I was playing The Witcher 3 and I finished everything, I still want to know what everyone was up to. I think we’re going to have opportunities like that as well for Cyberpunk 2077.

CDPR is also setting a new standard with the standard edition of the game. There are two editions that you can buy. The standard edition and the collector’s edition. The standard edition comes with plenty of goodies. CDPR mentioned that it filled the box with goodies as much as possible. What you get out of the box in the standard edition is much more than most deluxe editions.

That is very impressive indeed. The collector’s edition comes with a figure and many more goodies. I think that other developers and publishers should learn from CDPR. The developer has followed some great business practices over the years and has set an example that others should follow.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Let us know what you think about Cyberpunk 2077 and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out next year.
