Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: How to Create and Join Clans

The Division 2 Clans Guide

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 allows you to create, join and invite players to Clans; thus making the exploration of Washington D.C. a little bit easier.

As a multiplayer third-person shooter videogame, The Division 2 focuses on the co-op experience, meaning that being in a Clan or having your own Clan is quite important.

If you decide to create your own Clan, inviting other players to join, is also mandatory; therefore below we reveal the steps you need to follow to do that.

Hopefully, our Division 2 guide will teach you everything you need to know about the Cans in Ubisoft‘s latest video game release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

How to Unlock Clans in The Division 2

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Clans is a feature which requires you to unlock an NPC named Grace Larson.

Grace Larson is unlocked by completing a series of story missions and side missions very early in the game. If you have played The Division 2 Beta you already know how this works.

If you didn’t, then focus on reaching the Theather Settlement which is the second major establishment after the White House.

You’ll get there simply by following the game’s story missions.

Once you reach the Theather Settlement you’ll have to talk to 3 officers: Grace Larson (for Clans), Charles Douglas (for Firing Range) and Senait Ezera (for Dark Zones).

Talk to all these NPCs to recruit them. Grace Larson is located on the top floor of the Theather Settlement.

Now, after you recruit her, travel back to the White House. You can do that by Fast Travelling or you can simply walk there.

Look for Grace Larson in the East Wing of the White House, and talk to her again. As you’ll notice the Clans are now unlocked in the game.

How to Create or Join a Clan in The Division 2

Once you unlock this feature if you wish to create your own Clan or join others, just talk again to Grace Larson.

Using the Find Clan option, you can search a Clan by its name, or you can use filters to find Clans that match your playstyle, your country and so on.

The Create a Clan option, on the other hand, allows you to set up your own Clan. You can pick an Insignia, give it a name, set its preferences, etc..

How to Invite Players to a Clan in The Division 2

Inviting a Division 2 player to your Clan is also very easy. You can do that by opening the game’s menu (pause the game), then clicking on the Clan button in the top left corner of the screen.

From there go to Roster, then to Add Member.

Enter the player’s name and you’re done.

Keep in mind that a Division 2 Clan can have a maximum number of 50 agents.

Clan Rewards

Keep in mind that creating your own Clan but being the only member will not give you access to all the features.

This means that you won’t be able to earn Clan rewards for example.

In order to fully benefit from the Clans’ features in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, your Clan must have at least 4 members. Preferably active players.
