Chatterbox is the exotic submachine gun that you can get in The Division 2. We have already gone over other exotic weapons such as Merciless. In this Division 2 guide, we are going to go over how you can get Chatterbox.
Before getting into how you can get this weapon let us look at the different talents that this weapon has.
Incessant Chatter
Every shot landed grants +1% rate of fire to a max of 60%. This rests on reload.
Box Magazine
Kills with this weapon refill 20% of its magazine and grants a buff for 10s. While the buff is active, every shot landed increases magazine capacity by 1 to a max of 60. Killing a target consumes the buff to fully refill the increased magazine.
Blabbermouth
While holstered, reloading your weapon within 5s after a kill grants +20% rate of fire for 10s.
How To Get Chatterbox In The Division 2
Now that we know what this weapon is capable of, we can move on and talk about you you can obtain Chatterbox in The Division 2. You need to find three parts for the weapon and all of these are random drops from Hyena crates. So what you need to do is farm Hyena keys so that you can open these crates.
The first part can be found from Hyena crates in Downtown East. You can find two of these crates during the Grand Washington Hotel mission. So you can run this mission a couple of times until you find the part that you are looking for. The part is called Loaded Canister. The first crate is in a small bathroom after clearing the lobby, and the second is to the right when you enter the rooftop.
The next part is called Creative Mag. For this part, you need to loot Hyena crates in Federal Triangle. There is a crate during the Jefferson Trade Center mission, in the loading dock at the end of the garage. You can run the mission a couple of times and get this part.
Modified Mods if the third part that you need to get and you need to loot cates from Judiciary Square to get it. You can also get it by running the District Union Arena stronghold and looting the crates that you find. You will need luck to get it the part on your first try.
With all the parts, do the Bank Headquarters mission on Challenging difficulty. You will notice a new crate in the vault if you have all the parts. You will get the blueprint for Chatterbox from this crate.
Now all you have to do is head over to the crafting station and craft the weapon.
