Division 2 Nemesis Sniper

The Division 2 has a couple of exotic weapons that you can get and that includes Nemesis, the exotic sniper rifle. In this guide, we are going to go over how you can get this exotic weapon in the game.

How To Get Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle In The Division 2

Before we go over how you can get this weapon, we should look into the talents of the Nemesis sniper rifle. The following are the different talents of this weapon that you need to know about:

Counter-Sniper

Shots fired deal 0-100% weapon damage based on how long the trigger is held before releasing. The time to reach max weapon damage is reduced whenever a shot does not kill an enemy it hits.

Nemesis

Aiming at an enemy marks them as your nemesis for 15 seconds, letting you see them through walls. Your shots gain +5% damage to your nemesis for each second they are marked, to a max of 50%.

Preparation

While holstered, gain +25% headshot damage when scoped with your current weapon.

Division 2 Nemesis Sniper

Now that we have got the different talents out of the way, we can move on and talk about how you can get this weapon in the game.

In order to get this weapon, you need to progress the game and get to world tier 4. Once you have done that, you should complete the Tidal Basin stronghold. Play the campaign till the end and you will get to world tier 5.

Once you have done that, you need to complete the three new Invaded missions that unlock the capital building stronghold again. You need to complete this as well. Do this and you will be able to play Tidal Basin at any difficulty that you want. Select normal difficulty if you want to complete it quickly.

Reach the section right after you destroy the first set of defenses. Manny will tell you to patch ISAC into a laptop. Go upstairs in that building and on one of the bunk beds will find a Black Tusk Keycard. Pick this up. Continue through the mission and you will reach the hovercraft cargo bay.

Fight to the back of the hovercraft. When you are instructed to take a right turn and go through a door, this is where you need to go left instead. You will find a door locked with a keypad. Interact with it using the Black Tusk Keycard that you found earlier. Inside the room, you will find the Adrestia SR-1 high-end marksman rifle. You need to dismantle this weapon in order to get the Nemesis exotic sniper rifle in The Division 2.

Dismantling the weapon will get you the Marksman Rifle: Scope – The Tally exotic part. To get the other parts, you need to beat Klutz, Shorty, and Prime. These are bosses that you take on during each invaded stronghold encounters.

Go back to the invaded Capital Building stronghold and play through it. In the end, you will fight Prime. He will drop another part called Marksman Rifle: Barrel – The Scourge. Do the invaded Roosevelt Island stronghold and kill Shorty to get the Marksman Rifle: Bolt part. Kill Klutz in the invaded District Union Arena stronghold to get Marksman Rifle: Stock – The Bridle.

This might sound easy to do but the catch is that the invaded strongholds rotate every week. This means that you can only get the part for the stronghold that is available in the current rotation. You will have to wait until the next week for the other part and so on.

Once you have got all the parts you also need the blueprint that can be obtained by killing Puck during the invaded Grand Washington Hotel mission. There is a chance that Puck will drop the blueprint so you might not get it on the first try.

Remember that you need to dismantle the Adrestia SR-1 high-end marksman rifle in order to obtain the remaining parts and you need the blueprint to assemble the Nemesis exotic sniper rifle in The Division 2.

That is all for our Division 2 Nemesis Sniper guide. If you are interested in learning more about exotics then you can check out our guide on how you can get the Dodge City Gunslinger Exotic Holster.
