There are two options for the main protagonist of the game, Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall. Whoever you choose, you will have to stick with for the entire game. However, do not think that the other character will be discarded. On the contrary, the character you do not pick will often face you throughout the story. How to Beat Kasane Randall in Scarlet Nexus
Throughout the entire fight, you will have to face Shiden, Kasane, and Arashi. Your last encounter with Kasane might be easier because of Kagero, but this is not the case this time around. Shiden is a tougher opponent to go against. This is mainly because of his crowd control and great electrical damage. I would recommend you to deal with Shiden and Arashi before fighting Kasane.
Shiden and Arashi
The first order of business is to deal with Shiden. Shiden can stun you quite many times so dealing with him first is necessary. You can use the oil barrels around the arena to cover Shiden in oil. Once this is done, use Hanabi’s Pyrokinesis to deal serious damage to him.
When he reaches half health, he will use his Brain Dive, which is a deadly move. It would be best to use Tsugumi’s Clairvoyance or Luka’s Teleportation to avoid this attack at all costs. After avoiding, you can counterattack and deal damage to him. You also need to have Telepotation ready to back up when Shiden starts to charge up electric attacks.
After dealing with Shiden, divert your attention to Arashi. You can deal with Arashi the same way by using the barrels and oil. Pyrokinesis combos can stun her for a few seconds allowing you to deal extra damage to her.
Kasane Randall
Kasane will face you with the same abilities she was using in her last encounter. However, in this encounter, her combos have been extended. For Kasane, the same strategy applies to the barrels. Fire up the oil and deal damage to her by using Pyrokinesis.
Lower down her crush gauge, and soon she will be low on HP and start her Brain Dive. Avoid this and get ready for the Brain Field. Do not try to go in during this phase and wait it out. Getting in close is deadly, and you can surely die. After the field is over, focus her again, and soon she will go down, and a cutscene will play.
