Scarlet Nexus has bosses known as Major Others. They appear at different points in the game, and you have to defeat them to proceed. Coil Moil is one of the Major Others and appears in the 8th phase of the game. This Scarlet Nexus guide will include all the details on how you can beat Coil Moil. 

How to Beat Coil Moil Boss Battle in Scarlet Nexus

Coil Moil can be difficult to deal with, but once you know its attack pattern, you will find it much easier. 

Attacks 

Its attacks are:

Ice Spikes – This a range attack that Coil Moil uses. It makes spikes come out from the ground in random locations.

Heavy Punch – Coil Moil will try to land a heavy punch on you if you are close enough. 

Tunneling Underground – Coil Moil goes underground for a little while. Soon the boss will come out from the ground.

Water Cannon – Coil Moil has a water cannon on its head. It can shoot cannonballs made of water. 

Strategy

An armor shield will protect Coil Moil. You will need to break the shield to do damage to the boss. To do this, you can use Tsugumi’s Clairvoyance by dodging an ability at the last second. Breaking the armor will make Coil Moil fall over, and you can deal damage to it. Its weak points are the round growths on its back.

Whenever it loses its shield, you can focus it back by using Hanabi’s Pyrokenisis and Psychokinesis. Whenever Coil Moil uses Ice Spikes or Water Canon, you will have to use Perfect Dodge. You can also use Teleportation to penetrate through the attack and come close so you can deal damage. Clairvoyance is also important whenever the boss goes underground as it will tell you where it is.

At low health, the boss will try to throw a fit and Heavy Punch you, which is easy to dodge. It will also spawn bubbles that you need to stay clear of or take you will high damage. Make use of your Brain Crush abilities when the time is right. Always stay on the move and dodge any ability it throws at you.
