Scarlet Nexus Intercept Guide: How To Use

Scarlet Nexus Intercept

Intercept in Scarlet Nexus is an ability that you can use anytime during combat. However, the ability is only a follow-up attack. Whenever you manage to manage to make a perfect dodge, you can perform Intercept. If an enemy throws an object at you and you Perfect Dodge it, you can use Intercept to throw it back. This Scarlet Nexus guide will include all the details on how to use an Intercept.

How to Use an Intercept in Scarlet Nexus

In combat, there might have been countless encounters where you dodged an enemy attack at the perfect time. This usually causes the time to stop for a second, and you can perform a few actions in this state. One of those actions is the Intercept.

Whenever an enemy throws an object at you, you can react by performing a perfect dodge and pressing Right Trigger on your controller. This will allow your character to throw the object back to the enemy. If you execute this perfectly, then time will be slowed, and you can deal damage to the enemy without losing health. The more you get used to perfect dodges, the easier you can perform Intercept. There is one side mission in the game that requires good use of Intercept and rewards handsomely if you do it right.

Counter Research Side Quest

The side quest is available for Yuito players in Phase 9 of the game. The first objective will be to collect two cushion pounds from the first floor of the Supernatural Life Research Facility. You can find this in the long straight hallway on the left of the map. Here you will face enemies who will shoot at you. Dodging the projectiles and using Intercept by pressing R2 or RT is necessary here. You can also use Tsumugi’s Clairvoyance to dodge these projectiles and still use Intercept.

This is how you can use an intercept in Scarlet Nexus. If you want to learn more then you can check out our guide on where you can find Arahabaki Gates.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
