There are plenty of lethal machines that you will need to kill if you are interested in progressing Horizon Zero Dawn and the Stalker is one of them. These deadly machines are predators and can go invisible which makes them very dangerous indeed. In this Horizon Zero Dawn guide, we are going to go over how you can kill a Stalker.

How You Can Kill A Stalker In Horizon Zero Dawn

First, you need to take position in tall grass and scan the Stalker with your focus in order to find its weak points and pinpoint where the Stealth Generator is. You should take out the Stealth Generator first with your tear arrows. Removing this component does not do a lot of damage but the plus side is that this will stop the Stalker from going invisible and will make it a much easier target to track and kill.

Now that the Stalker cannot hide from you in plain sight, you will be able to shoot at its different weak spots with ease. You can shoot at the Body with weapons that do shock damage in order to deal the most damage take down the Stalker quickly. You can also shoot at the dart gun in order to disable the dart attacks of the machine making it less lethal.

You will notice that there are mines wherever a stalker is. This is because the machine has a mine launcher. You can shoot at the device in order to remove it and keep the machine from using it against you. You can even pick it up once it has been removed in order to use it against the stalker. The mine launcher does a fair amount of damage and will come in handy if you are up against multiple machines at the same time.
