Marionette Core is an ascension item that you require to level up Kazuha and other characters from the Inazuma region. Acquiring it is simple, but you will have to farm it to ascend most of your characters.
How to Acquire It
At the moment, there is only one way to acquire the Marionette Core. You will have to defeat Maguu Kenki, who you can find in the center of the Golden Apple Archipelago. You need to be Level 30 or above to acquire the Core after defeating the boss. Otherwise, if you go there before 30, you will not receive the Core. Complete your World quests and get yourself to Level 30.
You will first have to complete the first three Acts of the Midsummer Island Adventure missions. After this, you can fight the boss. Maguu Kenki will drop the Marionette Core along with other materials, artifacts, and items. However, you will require an Original Resin to open the reward blossom.
For the time being, this is the only way to acquire a Marionette Core. After the event is over, Golden Apple Archipelago might go away, and the source of the Core might change. As the samurai boss is from Inazuma you might be able to farm the core when the Inazuma region is released.
