The following are the materials that you need to level up Mona to 90:
- 1x Varunada Lazurite Sliver
- 9x Varunada Lazurite Fragment
- 9x Varunada Lazurite Chunk
- 6x Varunada Lazurite Gemstone
- 46x Cleansing Heart
- 168x Philanemo Mushroom
- 18x Whopperflower Nectar
- 66x Shimmering Nectar
- 93x Energy Nectar
You can get Varunada Lazurite Sliver and higher-tier variants of the resource from the Oceanid boss. You can even get some from the Stormterror challenge and by beating Childe in the Golden House. Cleansing Heart is also dropped by the Oceanid, so that is the boss that you should prioritize. Philanemo Mushroom can be found on buildings in Mondstad Castle, Springvale, and Dawn Winery. Whopperflower Nectar and higher-tier variants of the resource can be found by beating Whopperflowers in the open world. Once you have the base resources, you can use the crafting table to craft the higher-tier variants.

Ring of Boreas can be earned by completing the Wolf of the North Challenge. You can only get rewards from this once a week, so this is going to take a while. If you have other boss drops from the challenge then you can exchange them to get Ring of Boreas at the crafting bench if you have Dream Solvent. You can earn Crown of Insight from special events and by leveling up the shrine tree in Inazuma.
Best Genshin Impact Mona Build
Leveling up Mona and her talents is not going to be enough. You also need the right artifacts and weapon. The following is the build that we recommend for Mona in Genshin Impact.
Best Weapons
If you want to build a burst DPS Mona then we can recommend The Widsith. The bonus stat of the weapon is crit damage. You also get a random buff when you are on the field. This includes; 60% attack increase, 48% elemental damage increase, or 240 elemental mastery increase.
Skyward Atlas is a 5-star weapon that we can recommend for Mona. It has attack as the bonus stat but it also increases elemental damage bonus by 12%. Normal attacks have a 50% chance of earning the favor of the clouds which targets enemies and deals 160% attack damage. This can happen once every 30 seconds.
If you do not have the above-mentioned weapons then you can go with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. This has HP as the bonus stat. When you switch characters, the unit that takes the field has increased attack by 24% for 10 seconds.
Best Artifacts
If you want to capitalize on the burst of Mona then you should go with the Noblesse Oblige set. This increases elemental burst damage by 20% and using an elemental burst increases the attack of all party members by 20% for 12 seconds. Be sure to have crit damage or crit rate on the hat and hydro damage bonus on the goblet.
If you are going for a hydro sub-DPS build then we recommend going with 2-pieces of Wanderer’s Troupe and 2-pieces of Heart of Depth. This is going to increase elemental mastery by 80 and the hydro damage bonus by 15%. Be sure to have crit damage or crit rate on the hat and hydro damage bonus on the goblet.
