Unlike the Infinite Red Orbs Farming Glitch, the Infinite Devil Trigger in Devil May Cry 5, is a feature which doesn’t require a specific weapon or a fixed location; however, you’ll most likely want to know how to unlock it; especially if you wish to beat the videogame developed by Capcom on higher difficulty levels.

The DMC5 Infinite Devil Trigger; on the other hand, requires multiple playthroughs on different difficulty levels.

Furthermore, to be able to access it, you’ll have to unlock the Super Costumes for V, Dante, and Nero.

Below we discuss how to unlock the Unlimited Devil Trigger in Devil May Cry 5 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

How to Unlock the Devil May Cry 5 Infinite Devil Trigger

The Devil Trigger in Devil May Cry 5 is represented by the purple bar under your character’s health bar (green).

While you can increase the slots of your character’s vitality gauge by finding the Blue Orb Fragments or by purchasing full Blue Orbs from the shop; the Devil Trigger gauge increases by 1 every time you buy a Purple Orb or when you find 4 Purple Orb Fragments.

The Devil Trigger in DMC5 allows you to use your character’s powers and some cool transformations.

Unfortunately, though, when you do that, you will consume the Devil Trigger. So let’s see how you can get Infinite Devil Trigger in DMC5.

Step 1: Beat the game on Human or Devil Hunter 

The first thing you have to do is to beat Devil May Cry 5 on Human or Devil Hunter.

Any of these two difficulty levels allows you to unlock the DMC5 Son of Sparda difficulty level.

Step 2: Beat the game on Son of Sparda

Once you unlock the Son of Sparda, beat the game again on this difficulty level.

This lets you unlock the Dante Must Die difficulty level.

Step 3: Beat the game on Dante Must Die

Finally, you’ll have to complete the game once more on Dante Must Die.

Since this will be a tough playthrough, make sure you farm Red Orbs using the method outlined by our guide.

You can and should use them to max out your weapons and skill. Furthermore, you can also use the Red Orbs to buy Gold Orbs from the shop.

The latter, allow you to revive your character when needed.

After you complete the game on Dante Must Die, you’ll be rewarded with 3 Super Costumes: Super NeroSuper V, and Super Dante. Here is how they look like.

How to Use the Devil May Cry 5 Unlimited Devil Trigger

Now that you have unlocked the Super Outfits, you’ll want to use them in the game. This can be done by selecting these costumes whenever you start a new mission.

Simply pick them when you are asked if you wish to use the Original Skin or the Super Skin.

As you’ll notice these Super Costumes in DMC5 unlock the Infinite Devil Trigger feature; but before using them, you should know that this super-cool trait also comes at a cost.

Whenever you play the video game using one of these unique costumes your rank has a penalty of 80%. This means that getting an S-Rank is impossible.

If you ask what’s the point in using them, the answer is simple. The Infinite Devil Trigger helps you while playing the game on Heaven or Hell difficulty.

Granted you’ll not be able to S-Rank the missions, but then again some achievements and trophies don’t ask you to.
