Salmon Berry Location
The Salmonberry is a plant which prefers a lot of light, so you should check the areas outside forests.
Its orange berries will help you identify it and also not confuse it with the Black Currant. This plant is endemic to the Cascade area, which means that is quite easy to find.
In the picture above, you can see a Salmon Berry which was found east of Copeland’s Camp, near the road leading to the Logging Camp Infestation Zone.
Most Salmon Berries in Days Gone grow close to the roads. Again the Hawkeyed Survival Skill will help you find Salmon Berries faster.
Look on your minimap for an icon depicting a berry while exploring the Cascade area.
How to Use Salmon Berry
Without fishing, thus without having salmon, this plant is used only for increasing Deacon’s level of trust with the Days Gone Camps.
This means that once you get one to unlock the Herbology Collectibles entry, you are free to sell it to the kitchen.
The plant serves no other purpose than to help you make money and unlock new upgrades at the camp when you reach a new level of trust.
For each berry collected you’ll receive a berry which can be sold for 4 Trust Points and 5 Credits.
While this is a small amount, make sure you find at least one Salmon Berry if you want to get total completion in Days Gone.
