You need to progress Lady Tanith’s questline in order to encounter the boss in the Volcano Manor. This questline is very interesting and will put you up against different foes and give you multiple rewards. In this Elden Ring guide, we are going to go over how you can complete the Tanith questline.
Lady Tanith Questline Steps In Elden Ring
There are a couple of ways in which you can get to the Volcano Manor but one of the quick ways you can get there is by completing the first couple of steps of Rya’s questline. The first step is going to give you the invitation to the manor and completing the next step will teleport you to the Volcano Manor.
You can then interact with the site of grace there and come and go as you please. Once you are teleported there, you will find Lady Tanith right in front of you. Head over to her and talk to her. She will ask you to join her. Join her and you will be given the key to the drawing-room.
Head into the drawing-room and interact with the letter. Your task is to kill Old Knight Istvan found in Stormhill. The invasion point is marked on the map in red, so you can’t miss it. You can choose to talk to Tanith before going to kill Old Knight Istvan or head over to Stormhill directly.
Once you have killed Old Knight Istvan, you need to come back to the Volcano Manor and talk to Tanith again. Tell her about your progress and she will reward you with Magma shot.
Next, you need to head into the drawing-room and pick up the next letter. This time you need to defeat Rileigh the Idle in Altus Plateau. The invasion point is marked on the map. Head over there and defeat the NPC.
Return to Tanith and talk to her again and you will be rewarded with Serpentbone Blade. Reload into Volcano Manor and talk to Tanith and she will tell you about the lord of the manor and how you are ready to meet him,
You will then be teleported into the Rykard’s boss arena. Once you have beaten the boss, come back and talk to Tanith. She will then move into the boss chamber where you beat Rykard. You can kill Tanith to get Consort’s Set.
Once you kill her, her bodyguard is going to invade you. You can kill him to get the Aspect of the Crucible: Breath incantation.
