Bleed is one of the status effects that you can inflict on enemies. Once the bleed meter fills up, you deal additional bleed damage to the enemy. This can stack with the damage of your attacks and allows you to deal massive amounts of damage. In this Elden Ring guide, we are going to go over the best weapons for a bleed build.
Best Weapons For Bleed Build In Elden Ring
For our first build, we recommend getting a few things. Firstly, we recommend getting the Seppuku weapon art. This can be applied to any weapon that pierces enemies. In order to get it, you need to progress the game to the point where you reach the Morgott boss fight.
Once you have dealt with the boss you need to go to Mountaintops of the Giants. Now, you need to head over to the frozen lake and look for a small piece of land. Here you will find an enemy that is invisible and is marked by golden footsteps. Hit the enemy and it will drop the item that you are looking for.
Secondly, we recommend getting the Fire’s Deadly Sin incantation. This is hidden in Altus Plateau. In order to get it, you need to the two halves of the Dectus Medallion. Once you have the whole medallion you need to head over to Dominula, Windmill Village.
In the southern part of town, you will find a spirit that is going to disappear after dropping the incantation. Once you have them you will need 19 faith in order to use them. Having more faith will allow you to deal more damage.
For our second option, we recommend the Rivers of blood Katana, which is one of the best weapons of its type in the game. You can use it with a shield but you will want to deal as much damage as possible in order to apply the bleed effect so we recommend dual-wielding the weapon.
The weapon has fast attacks which is going to come in handy and allow you to deal as much damage as possible. In order to get the weapon, you need to head over to the Mountaintop of the giants. You will be invaded by Okina in the area before the fire giant boss. Kill the invader in order to get the weapon.
Nagakiba with bloody slash is also a great combination that works well with Rivers of blood. You can get the weapon by beating finger Yura near Murkwater cave.
If you are interested in using a dagger then we can recommend the Reduvia dagger. This is a very fast weapon that deals bleed damage so you can inflict this status effect often. It also shoots bloody slashes which deal a decent amount of damage.
You will need a high arcane level in order for this build to work. Do note that this is a great build for PvP. While you can use it for PvE as well but there are better options that you can go with.
Lastly, we recommend using the Hookclaws which are great if you are interested in a bleed build in Elden Ring. The advantage of using the weapon is its sheer speed. This will allow you to quickly fill up the blood loss bar. You can get the weapon by beating Margit and while exploring Stormveil castle.
