Borderlands 3 has a couple of emotes that you can use in order to make things even more interesting. In this Borderlands 3 guide, we are going to walk you through how you can use emotes in the game.

How you are supposed to use emotes is not very intuitive. So this guide should help you figure emotes out.

How To Use Emotes In Borderlands 3 Emotes

To use emotes, you have to press and hold the pause button. This is the options button on your controller. The whole HUD is going to disappear and you will get a wheel menu like the one in the image below.

Use this menu to use emotes. You can also use this menu for other functions like marking a location or enemy for other players. You can also use the wheel to take an image. You can also use it to challenge another player to a duel.

You can set the emotes in the QuickChange vending machine. Go to the Emotes tab and you will see all the emotes that you have available that you can use. You can buy emotes from Crazy Earl in Sanctuary. His ship is next to the hold of the ship.
