At the final stage of the main story quest of Hostile Takeover, the fight with Gigamind occurs. In the Meridian Metroplex on the planet, Promethea is the Halcyon Spaceport battlefield. By taking the help Zero, you may be able to get to the port. Unfortunately, this associate is only going to watch this battle from afar and will not be of any assistance in terms of attacking the boss.
The beginning of this fight is fairly easy and simple. Gigamind is going to come flying onboard and is going to do his regular attacks from a distance. Try avoiding his attacks using any weapon of your choice. Reduce his health bar which is blue in color to zero.
The next stage of the fight will start when Gigamind is only left with one health bar, the red one. He will start taking covers behind different shields. You can attack him from the back or even sides whenever you can find an opportunity. The attacks will become relatively weaker when they will reach the boss because first, they will be breaking the shields.
Beware of the shield of the boss when it turns red in color. The boss will launch a heavy fire using weapons by using his shield. Try avoiding the attacks from the boss by running through the time on the map. If he is able to attack you, you may seriously become injured very quickly.
In the arena, you will soon find the Assault Troops. Focus on the drones that are flying above their heads that may surround them with powerful energy shields. Once you have destroyed the small drone, you may be able to effectively attack the soldiers. Keep this in mind especially if you want to use the Second Wind while you have been knocked down and want to get back to the fight.
In the last part of the battle, the boss will come with some new attacks. He is going to create a tornado by sending some clusters of drones towards you. In both these cases, try and not become an easy target. You can do so by continuously moving on the map. Use the opportunity of attacking the boss because he has lost his shield and can get damaged quickly.
You will find various loot such as eridium, credits and multiple other items once the boss is defeated. To complete the main mission, you can also find the Gigabrain on the ground.
