Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Kassandra Trailer Debuts at Gamescom 2018

If you fail…Greece is lost

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey was also present at Gamescom 2018, where the French video game publisher revealed a new trailer for its upcoming title.

The Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Kassandra cinematic trailer above is a must-see; if you wish to find more details on the game’s setting and some of the new features introduced by Ubisoft.

The trailer is named after one of the main characters (Kassandra) who is a direct descendant of Leonidas I.

The action in the game takes place in 431 BCE, during the Peloponnesian War. As the trailer also reveals, players will encounter various monsters from Greek mythology.

At 0:51 we can see a creature very similar to Medusa, and at 0:37 a rather large lion; although it is unknown yet if it’s the Nemean lion.

Additionally, the trailer re-confirms that in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, naval battles will play an important role in deciding the fate of Greece.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is less than two months away from its release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

In case you missed the news, Ubisoft already announced a large number of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey editions ready to be pre-ordered.

The cheapest version is obviously Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Standard Edition (selling for $ 59.99 on Amazon); while the most expensive is the Pantheon Edition ($219.99).

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey releases October 5, 2018, and we can’t wait to play it. How about you? Let us know below or join us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
